Beromuenster. Abbey 1/2 Taler ND (1720) MS63 NGC, KM3. A quintessential old-world taler type, almost certainly from a tiny Swiss enclave lacking from many collections, featuring a marvelously romantic depiction of a fully armored St. Michael brandishing a flaming sword with his foot on the defeated devil. A piece which has clearly spent long periods in a coin cabinet, resulting fiery toning accents.
