This is the first of two consecutive 1937 1000 Dollar Bank of Canada pieces we are offering which presents a unique opportunity to a potential buyer as we have never had this opportunity before. The note shows with a central portrait of Sir Wilfred Laurier and red under-printing with rays. Back design shown with allegorical scene of a kneeling female shielding her child. The quality of the note overall is outstanding, with strongly printed devices and vibrant color. One of the finer issued examples we have handled, with the majority found the VF to low EF levels.
