A rare 1899 "1000 Days War" Provisional note in superior condition. Overall this is a bright and vivid example. The remainder host note is from the Paredes printed series. Blue protector with man and dog at top center. The blue back is bold with strong text details. Noted as punch hole cancelled and previously mounted (on the corners). There are few known and this is nearly as fine as the 1 Pesos P-S657 that realized $2,880 in the first Eldorado sale in January 2018. PMG Very Fine 20.
