REUNION. Caisse Centrale de la France d'Outre-Mer. 1000 Francs, 1944. P-40. PCGS Currency Very Fine 25.
A very scarce note, as this Phoenix design is nearly impossible to find as an issued Reunion note, particularly with the black serial numbers. PCGS Currency mentions Small Edge Tears, and Repairs in the comments section, but collectors can easily turn the other cheek at those comments due to the rarity and opportunity presented here. We previously sold a 1000 Franc that was much more problematic for over $3000. PCGS Currency Very Fine 25.
