FRANCE. 1/2 Ecu, 1690-A. Louis XIV (1643-1715). PCGS MS-64+ Gold Shield.
KM-273.1; Gad-184. Struck on a new flan with surfaces that are stunningly luminous, boldly detailed and display no contact marks of any consequence on either side. As is often the case however, a number of planchet adjustments remain visible, their presence on this piece remaining almost entirely confined to Louis XIV's bust. Despite this as made imperfection, the finest graded example at PCGS with none graded as high at NGC; sure to attract significant collector attention as such.
Estimate: $1000.00- $1500.00
