Laureate bust of Napoleon III, right, his name and title as Emperor around; Reverse: Inscription: "MINISTERE DE L'AGRICULTURE ET DU COMMERCE" around a heavy wreath of agricultural products enclosing inscription: "CONCOURS AGRICOLE REGnal / ANIMAUX REPRODrs" with "CLERMONT / 1870" in blank medallion at center. Hallmarked (bee) "OR" on edge at six o'clock. Sharply struck with brilliant gold luster.
