A lovely Gem example of this early presentation issue from the British Royal Mint, displaying designs that are sharp and in bold relief and fields that are entirely glossy, retaining appealing luster. An outline of original mint red that surrounds many of the protected areas of the design on both sides further compliments the eye appeal. VERY RARE in this exceptional quality and as such, a coin that should be of utmost interest to collectors in the field.
