GREAT BRITAIN. Cased Set Knights Commander Level Order of the Bath, Military Division, Neck Badge and Breast Star. ND (Instituted 1725-Present Day). EXTREMELY FINE.
Barac-735-736; MYB-4; Wer-570 & 573. A fine quality set with the star in virtually mint condition, the neck badge showing several minuscule surface chips to the enamels. The gilt silver neck badge includes the claret neck ribbon and ornamental jump ring. The Star in silver and enamels, with a single hinged tunic pin. Neither ornament presents maker's marks, but the hinged and fitted leather, silk and velour case is inscribed: "BY APPOINTMENT TO / H. M. THE QUEEN / GOLDSMITHS & / CROWN JEWELLERS / GARRARD & CO. LTD / 112 REGENT STREET W1". The exterior lid is gold stamped "K C. B. MILY" within a blind cartouche.
