VERY RARE quality for this rare date, retaining strong gleam in the fields and a bold strike, this being the sharpest we've seen on this date with nearly full detail on the sun's face as well as the leaves in the often soft Ceiba tree. No major forms of handling deter the appearance. Unsurpassed in grade at NGC or PCGS, this example will certainly draw a good deal of interest from the advanced collector.
