DC-17a $4 2.1.1902 PMG Very Fine 25. This lovely example is the scarcer type variety from the 1902 issue displaying the denomination in number format at the top. With a limited printing of 440,000, less than 80 examples are know to have survived. Although not the finest graded example in the PMG Census, this beauty is the highest graded example of the DC-17a number that we have offered without any impairments. Lovely and problem-free.
