Australia Commonwealth of Australia 10 Pounds ND (1934-39) Pick 24 PMG Very Fine 25. An excellent, and original example of this highest denomination issue. Interestingly enough, there were complaints about the similarities between the 10 Shillings and the 10 Pounds banknotes, which prompted the former to be overstamped with the bright red "TEN SHILLINGS" stamp in the margins. There is a limited prefix range for this denomination, which alludes to its impressive purchasing power and relative scarcity. From the Kevin O'Hara Australian Banknote Collection HID08701242017
