China Taiwan Bank of Taiwan Limited 10 Yen ND (1916) Pick 1923s Specimen PMG About Uncirculated 55 EPQ. The Bank of Taiwan, established as a Kabushiki Kaisha (corporation), became the de facto central bank for the Japanese possession. Though it did not control monetary policy, it was responsible for the exchange of Yen, as well as other financial services. After the war, it continued on as the de facto central bank until its currency issuing rights were revoked in the early 2000s. This is a lovely perforated specimen note which is the first for the type we have offered. HID08701242017
