Panama Banco Central de Emission 5 Balboas 1941 Pick 23a PCGS Very Fine 30. A scarce denomination from what is commonly known as the "Arias Seven Day Issue." Issued on October 2, 1941, these notes were withdrawn one week later when President Dr. Arnulfo Arias was replaced by Dr. Ricard Adolfo de la Guardia. The majority of the notes were incinerated, leaving very few examples available to the collection community. This surviving Cinco Balboas is evenly circulated with a few minor rust stains.
