Reunion Banque de la Reunion 2 Francs L.1943 Pick 35 PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ. After Reunion joined the Free French side on December 1, 1942, stocks of the Vichy French emergency notes (Pick 30-32) were destroyed and ultimately replaced with a Free French issue that was identical to the Vichy issue save for a red Cross of Lorraine instead of a Vichy Axe and the authorization date. This is the highest grade of the three notes reported in the PMG Population Report. With only a handful of auction appearances, this is, by far, the highest grade example offered in public auctions to date. From the Feeling Good Collection HID08701242017
