The £1 was the smallest denomination issued, and was redeemable for gold. In total £10,450,501 was issued for this series which had denominations ranging between £1-£1,000. Only £60 were never withdrawn. English script on the face, and Dutch on the back. Unfathomably rare in issued form. Rust damage, with traces of ink. HID08701242017
