Cyprus Government of Cyprus 250 Mils 1.3.1960 Pick 33a PMG Very Fine 25. Although all dates of this series are grouped together in one Pick number, it is noteworthy to mention that the 1960 date is far scarcer than any other date. In fact, circulation was limited to only about 200,000 notes in the A/11 prefix. Additionally, this date also had the shortest lifespan, as Cyprus was granted independence from Britain in August, 1960. Scarce and desirable, as only the 250 Mils and £5 denominations have this final date for British Cyprus banknotes. HID08701242017
