PHRYGIA, Eumeneia. Æ (20mm, 7.34 g). Countermark applied shortly after 40 BC. EYMENEΩN and ΦIΛΩNIΔOY (?) monograms in two circular stamps, struck on an a bronze of Fulvia from Eumeneia (as Fulvia), with the ethnic erased. RPC I p. 508; Howgego –. Host Good Fine, c/m's VF.

From the Richard Baker Collection.

The erased ethnic and the countermarks can possibly indicate an attempt to return the city to its regular name, following the brief change to Fulvia.
