ROMANO-BYZANTINE, Coin Weights. Circa 4th-5th centuries. Æ Half Ounce Weight(?) (22mm, 12.56 g, 12h). Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Stylized incuse I-B to either side of central incuse pellet; incuse floral design below, incuse rectangular pattern above. Bendall –; Dürr –. VF, dark brown to black patina with reddish earthen highlights/deposits. Unusual and rare.
