ROMANO-BYZANTINE, Commercial Weights. Circa 4th-5th centuries. Æ Rectangular Weight(?) or Token (14.5x11mm, 3.48 g). Theotokos (Virgin Mary) facing / "Magic square" pattern within rectangular frame. Good VF, dark green to black patina with earthen highlights/deposits. Unusual and interesting.
