(x) Stephen (1135-54), Penny, 1.37g, Cross Pommée (Awbridge) type, Bury St Edmunds, Acel, + sti[efn]e, crowned and bearded bust three-quarters left, holding sceptre in right hand, rev. ace: on: s: [ed]mv:, voided cross within beaded quatrefoil, a fleur in each angle springing from the quatrefoil (Eaglen 468, B411 this coin; Mack 102b; N.881; S.1282), a little off-centre, cracked along collar below bust, otherwise very fine, rare.
