Commodus Æ Cast Paduan "Medallion". After Giovanni Cavino, 1500-1570. •M•COMMODUS•ANTONINVS•AVG•PIVS•BRIT•, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right / •PM•TR•P•XVI•COS•III•P•P•, Salus seated on a throne to left, feeding a snake from a patera held in her right hand; to left, statue of Bacchus standing right on pillar, in front of a vine, around which the snake is entwined. Kress 409 = NG 466 (a later copper strike); Lawrence 64. 30.04g, 42mm, 1h.

About Good Very Fine; slightly wavy flan, a few scattered marks.
