Macedon, Akanthos AR Tetradrachm. Circa 470-430 BC. Attic Standard. Lion to right, leaping upon and attacking bull collapsing to left; fish to left in exergue / AKANΘION in shallow incuse around quadripartite square, the quarters raised and granulated. Desneux -, cf. 96-103. 17.16g, 29mm, 1h.

Good Very Fine; pleasant golden-reddish cabinet tone.
