Elagabalus, with Severus Alexander, Æ17 of Rhesaena, Mesopotamia(?). AD 218-222. AVT ANTѠNIN CЄB(sic), laureate head right, set on eagle flying right / [AΛЄΞ]ANΔP•••O•MY•[..](sic) , laureate head right, set on eagle flying right. Unpublished in the standard references, cf. Castelin 1-7 (Caracalla) for similar types. 3.74g, 17mm, 12h.

Very Fine. Seemingly unpublished.

The attribution to Rhesaena has been made on account of the stylistic similarities between this coin and the obverses found on the issues struck under Caracalla, though remains uncertain.
