Middlesex 201 (Scarce). National Series (Also a Jacobean piece). Silver penny. 10.11 gm. 35 mm. 1788. Bust of William III right; WILLIAM III OF BLESSED MEMORY around / BRITONS NEVER WILL BE SLAVES in four lines in the center in a laurel leaf circle; REVOLUTION JUBILEE NOVR 1V 1788 around. Woolf 75:7 (Jacobean). Uncirculated; prooflike; lightly toned and attractive. A faint "O" just above the "BR: of "BRITONS" looks like the remnants of an undertype.

HS written on envelope: "Wayne Anderson (5/15/99) told me he'd never seen one in silver before." D&H: "Scarce" overall--but this in silver is Very rare.
