SICILY, Akragas. Circa 420-410 BC. AR Hemidrachm (14mm, 1.75 g, 11h). Eagle standing right on, and tearing at, hare; barley grain to left / Crab; below, ketos left with fish in its mouth. Westermark, Coinage, Period III, Series 2, 576 (O18/R23); HGC 2, 105; SNG ANS 1010 (same dies). Good VF, overstruck, likely on a similar issue from Akragas. Excellent metal for this issue.
