SICILY, Selinos. Circa 455-409 BC. AR Tetradrachm (28mm, 17.27 g, 5h). Artemis driving quadriga left; beside her, Apollo standing left, drawing bow / River god Selinos standing left, holding phiale over altar to left, cradling palm branch in arm; before altar, cock standing left; to right, selinon leaf above bull standing left on basis. Schwabacher 11 (Q3/S11); HGC 2, 1220; SNG ANS 692 (same dies); BMC 28 (same dies); Jameson 721 (same dies); Rizzo pl. XXXI, 13 (same obv. die). VF, lightly toned, area of weak strike, die break and off center on obverse.
