James II (1685-88), Tin Farthing (with copper plug), 1687, laureate and draped bust right, rev. Britannia seated right, plain in exergue, *nvmmorvm famvlvs * 1687 (voided stars and mullet) on edge, 5.57g (BMC [Peck] 558; S.3421), light spots of corrosion and minor edge loss, the residual lettering otherwise bold and the date clear, the obverse well struck, the reverse soft, very fine thus rare.
