Vintage Photographs; (1867-1953) Photograph of Queen Mary, Princess of Wales standing, facing front holding a closed fan in her hands, wearing the Love Trophy Collar, together with the tiara made by Boucheron in 1902, the County of Surrey Necklace/Tiara, dismantled in 1913-14 and the Kensington Brooch. On her satin dress she wears the Royal Family Orders of Queen Victoria and Edward VII. Warrants of W. & D. Downey, a studio photography firm operating in London from the 1860s to the 1910s. Shows hand written dates and file numbers along with an American Bank Note Co. Stamp dated May 10, 1911. Important to note that this portrait was later used by the ABNC on the 1911 $500 banknote.
