Macedon, Akanthos AR Tetradrachm. Circa 470-430 BC. Lion right, attacking bull crouching left; AKA above; in exergue, fish left / AKANΘION in shallow incuse around quadripartite square, the quarters raised and granulated. Unpublished in the standard references, but cf. Desneux 95. 17.22g, 30mm, 10h.

Extremely Fine; slight obv. die shift. Apparently unpublished.
