SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Nero. AD 54-68. AR Drachm (17mm, 2.62 g, 12h). Struck circa AD 54-55. Laureate head right; lituus before / Aquila (eagle on thunderbolt on staff) between two signa. Prieur 71; McAlee 277; RPC I 4172. VF, lightly toned, rough and corroded surfaces. Extremely rare, only one example known to Prieur, and one to the authors of RPC, with only one specimen on CoinArchives (Gorny & Mosch 203, 5 March 2012, lot 284, which realized a hammer price of 2000 Euros).
