Heraclius. 610-641. AE follis (21.2 mm, 6.04 g, 6 h). Ravenna mint, Struck 630/1. legend, if any (usually fragmentary and/or blundered), entirely off-flan, Heraclius with long beard on left wearing military garb and Heraclius Constantine on right wearing chlamys, both crowned, standing facing: Heraclius holds long cross and tramples on prostrate figure; Heraclius Constantine holds globus cruciger; between their heads, small cross / Large M between A / N / N / O on left and X / X / I (= regnal yr. 21 = 630/1 ) on right; above, cross, beneath, Δ // RAV. SBCV 914; DOC 297. VF for type, "desert patina" with light green fields. Rare.
