A lovely Chimu-Inca monkey vessel from Peru, ca. 1300-1500 A.D. It is 8-1/4? high and features a nicely detailed monkey draped over the top of the chamber. Intact, nicely burnished, with strong mineral deposits. Ex Llerena collection. Value range: $450 - $500.
