A pair of fine Chancay vessels from Peru, ca. 1100 - 1450 A.D. The jar with flared rim is 3-1/4" high, is decorated with vertical stripes and is perforated for suspension or attachment of a cover. The delicate pedestal dish is 3-5/8" in diameter and is nicely decorated with a wave design. Both have good mineral deposits. Ex Philadelphia, PA estate. Value range: $200 - $300.
