A fine Harappan jar from the Indus Valley, ca. 2500 - 1800 B.C. This well-made vessel is 3-5/8? in diameter is decorated with a pair of tigers, separated by plants and set off with a variety of symbols. Nice example, with strong paint and heavy mineral deposits. Ex U.K. collection. Value range: $300 - $400.
