Gordian III, 238-244. Antoninianus (Silver, 24 mm, 4.31 g, 12 h), Antiochia, 238. IMP CAES M ANT GORDIANVS AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian III to right, seen from behind. Rev. PAX AVGVSTI Pax standing front, head to left, holding branch in her right hand and long transverse scepter in her left. Cohen 173 var. (AVGVST). RIC 189a. Beautifully toned. The reverse slightly double struck, otherwise, extremely fine.
