D N IVSTINVS P P AVG Pearl-diademed, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Justin I facing slightly to right, holding spear in his right hand and with a shield decorated with horseman attacking a fallen foe over his left shoulder. Rev. VICTORIA AVGGG A / CONOB Angel standing front, holding long cross with his right hand and globus cruciger in his left hand; in field to right, eight-pointed star. DOC 2a. MIB 3. SB 56. A well struck example with an excellent portrait. Graffito on the obverse and the flan slightly wavy, otherwise, virtually as struck.
