Anonymous Folles, time of Nicephorus III, circa 1078-1081. Follis (Bronze, 19 mm, 1.96 g, 9 h), a contemporary imitation. Nimbate bust of Christ facing. Rev. Cross pommée on floriate base; at intersection; in lower right field, inverted crescent. Cf. SB 1889 (for prototype). The reverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, very fine.
