Byzantine Weights, Circa 6th-7th century. Weight of 2 Ounkia (Bronze, 28x28 mm, 55.81 g), a uniface square commercial weight with plain edges. Γᴑ B with cross between; all engraved in outline and inlaid with silver; all within stylized laurel wreath within scalloped border. Rev. Plain. Bendall 71. MAH 93-94. Pera 93-96. The inlays missing and with some corrosion on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
