Byzantine Seals. Seal (Lead, 36 mm, 26.12 g, 12 h), circa 11th-12th centuries. The Virgin Mary standing facing, nimbate, holding Infant Christ on arm. Rev. Inscription in five lines. A large and impressive seal. Very fine.
