Byzantine Seals. Seal (Lead, 17 mm, 6.10 g, 12 h), circa 11th-12th centuries. Half-length facing bust of St. Georgios, nimbate, holding spear in his right hand and shield in his left. Rev. Inscription in seven lines. Very fine.
