ATTICA. Athens. Circa 420s-404 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 16.79 g, 9 h). Head of Athena to right, wrearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and palmette. Rev. ΑΘE Owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive sprig and crescent; all within incuse square. Kroll 8. Svoronos pls. 15-17 passim. Two banker's marks and with a graffito on the reverse, otherwise, about very fine.
