ISLANDS OFF IONIA, Chios. Circa 490-435 BC. Didrachm (Silver, 16 mm, 7.85 g). Sphinx seated left; to left, grape bunch above amphora; all set on circular convex field. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. HGC 6, 1121. Mavrogordato 22. Die break on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
