CELTIC, Northwest Gaul. Coriosolites. Circa 100-50 BC. Stater (Bronze, 24 mm, 5.74 g, 2 h). Celticized head of Apollo to right. Rev. Celticized charioteer, in chariot drawn by a human-headed horse to left; below, lyre. D&T 2332. LT -. Attractive green patina. Several edge cracks and the reverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, very fine.
