CILICIA. Tarsos. 164-27 BC. AE (Bronze, 21 mm, 7.42 g, 1 h). Turreted head of the city-goddess to right; to left and right, two countermarks within rectangular incusa: bow in bowcase and dolphin coiled around anchor. Rev. [ΤΑΡΣΕΩΝ] Zeus seated left, holding scepter; to right, [monograms]. Cf. SNG Paris 1286-1294 (without countermarks). Very worn but with two interesting countermarks. Fair.
