KINGS OF ARMENIA. Tigranes the Younger, 77/6-66 BC. Tetrachalkon (Bronze, 19 mm, 6.26 g, 1 h), Tigranokerta, circa 70/69-69/8. Draped bust of Tigranes the Younger to right, wearing five-pointed Armenian tiara decorated with a star between two eagles and tied with a diadem. Rev. [BAΣIΛEΩΣ - TIΓPANOY] Nike advancing left, holding wreath in her right hand and palm over her left shoulder. Kovacs 141 or 143 or 145. Somewhat rough, otherwise, about very fine.
