KINGS OF ARMENIA. Tigranes V, circa 6-12. Tetrachalkon (Bronze, 17 mm, 3.38 g, 2 h), Artagigarta (?). Bearded and draped bust of Tigranes V to right, wearing five-pointed Armenian tiara decorated with four eagles and tied with a diadem. Rev. ΒAΣΙΛΕΩ[Σ] / TIΓPANOY - [MEΓ]AΛΟ[Υ] Herakles standing front, head to left, resting his right hand on club set on ground and with lion skin draped over his left arm. Kovacs 181. Minor cleaning scratches on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
