SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Antiochos III 'the Great', 223-187 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 28 mm, 16.10 g, 1 h), Antiochia on the Orontes, circa 223-211/10. Diademed head of Antiochos III to right. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ - ANTIOXOY Apollo, nude, seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in his right hand and leaning with his left on bow; to left, two (?) monograms. SC 1042.1 or 1042.3. Darkly toned. Somewhat porous, otherwise, very fine.
