SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Alexander I Balas, 152-145 BC. Drachm (Silver, 18 mm, 3.84 g, 1 h), Antiochia on the Orontes. Diademed head of Alexander I to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ - ΘΕΟΠΑΤΟΡΟΣ / ΕΥΕΡΓΕΤΟΥ Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in his right hand and resting his right on his bow. SC 1785 (?). Darkly toned and with some deposits on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
