British Coins from Various Properties

Henry VII (1485-1509), Profile issue, Groat, Tentative type, mm. cross-crosslet, tressure of arches around bust, reads henric v·i·i di gra rex agl z fr, saltire stops, rev. reads adivtoe, 2.46g/11h (P & W III (c); SCBI Ashmolean –; N 1746; S 2255). Nearly very fine, but surfaces a little rough and porous and edge slightly ragged between 3 and 6 o'clock, excessively rare; only four specimens known £4,000-£6,000
