COLOMBIA. Sextet of 50 Centavos (6 Pieces), 1947-48. Bogota Mint. All PCGS Gold Shield Certified.
KM-209, Restrepo type 419. All are overdates of 1947/6 or 1948/6, and range from blast white to lightly toned with grades from MS-62 to MS-64. Two most unusual varieties include: 1947/6-BB, in which the B mintmark was stamped both at the top and bottom of the wreath, and 1948/6-B/B, with a clear repunching of the B. Restrepo lists the mintmark varieties, but does not list overdates for either 1947 or 1948. A very interesting variety study group.
